November 5, 2013- January 20, 2015A commissioned art installation of 10 framed 72" x 94" watercolors on paper and 13 screen printed banners circling the Rotunda featuring the names of 6,147 people derived from archival research. Names represent a sampling of those most impacted by the bringing of big water to Los Angeles, including everyone from titans to ditch diggers; to dissidents and protesters; to a definitive list of those killed by the St. Francis Dam disaster; to Paiute families displaced by the bringing of big water to Los Angeles 1905-1930.
